Rhonda Koerner

Founder & Owner

Rhonda has the distinction of being one of the few Level 3 Fascia Stretch Therapy practitioners in Canada. Having studied under stretch pioneers Chris and Ann Fredericks at Stretch to Win©, world-renowned back pain specialist Dr. Stuart McGill and lymphatic mojo master Dr. Perry Nickelston, Rhonda brings a diverse background of knowledge to a bodywork session.

 

Not specializing in one type of client, Rhonda has a variety of experience treating people who participate in CrossFit, running, weightlifting, office workers, the elderly, people with back issues, clients with Down Syndrome and the lists goes on! Rhonda believes in giving you the ability to control the aches and pains in your body and not to accept and live with them.

 

In her spare time, Rhonda loves to bike ride, run, lift weights and read. She also believes in keeping up and expanding her knowledge on the subject of fascia and partakes in a variety of workshops throughout the year.

All about your session


1. What do I wear to a session?

     -Comfortable clothes, typically workout clothing or anything that is not constricting. No belts or tight pants/tops

2. Does Fascia Stretch Therapy hurt?

     -No! FST is a gentle pain-free body treatment that stretches your entire body in a relaxing manner.

3. What can I expect in a session?

     -FST is a table-based assisted stretching program. I will focus on your entire body, moving and stretching it through a variety of positions to bring about incredible looseness and freedom in your movement.

4. How often should I have a FST session?

     -It is recommended to have sessions every 2-3 weeks for optimum body maintenance.

5. Is FST for everyone?

     -It is a type of body treatment that can be enjoyed by virtually anyone. A medical waiver will be required before the first session to ensure there are no issues that may be contraindicated by FST.
